Cybersecurity for small and mid-sized UAE businesses

Most attacks on small companies are not clever. A staff member clicks a fake invoice, a password is reused, a laptop is lost, or ransomware locks files that were never backed up. Good security for an SME is a set of simple, well-run basics, and we put them in place and keep them running.

The basics we set up

• Firewall. A business firewall with web filtering and secure remote access, kept up to date.
• Endpoint protection. Modern antivirus and threat detection on every laptop and desktop, managed centrally so nothing is switched off.
• Email security. Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace hardened: multi-factor sign-in, spam and phishing filtering, and protection against fake "CEO" emails.
• Backups that work. Automatic backups of servers, shared files and Microsoft 365 mailboxes, with a copy kept off-site, and regular restore tests.
• Device control. Disk encryption on laptops, automatic updates, and the ability to lock or wipe a lost device.
• Access control. Each person sees only what their job needs, and leavers lose access the same day.

Start with a security check

We review your office in a short visit: firewall, Wi-Fi, laptops, email settings, backups and who has access to what. You receive a plain-language report with the risks ranked by urgency and what each fix costs. Many companies find two or three serious gaps that are quick to close.

Your people are part of the defence

Short, practical awareness sessions show staff how to recognise phishing emails, fake payment requests and suspicious links, and what to do when they are unsure. A few minutes of training prevents most of the incidents we are called out to.

Security is not a one-off project. Add it to an IT support contract and we watch alerts, apply updates, test backups and report every month.
